IDEA’s Respirometers have been developed with the idea to create configuratons for parallel testing (1 to 24 parallel units) needs in the enviroment, wastewater, biogas, biofuel, bioplastic, fermentations, microalgae applications.
Specific Devices/Optional features:
- portable versions for O2 and CO2 respirometers (a laptop is used to power and control the device).
- optional automatic testing for O2 respirometer (1 point periodic testing, or up to 6 different samples tested in series)

Pre-Order
The Microalgal Respirometer is based on the Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Respirometer with integrated a submerged led element. It is a specific tool for the determination of the Oxygen Production Rate (OPR) of the microalgae sample or the OPR/OUR (Oxygen Uptake Rate) of mixed microalgae-bacteria consortia.
It is the best solution for testing your microalgae in different conditions (P/N source, ammonia inhibition, light intensity regimes, etc.). Optionally, it is integrated with a pH sensor/control system and light sensor to measure the light out the vessel and the biomass concentration.
