stirring/mixing, sensor integration, gas/liquid handling, pumping, light control for photo-bioreactors, temperature control. IDEA CONFIGURABLE BIOREACTIONS SYTEM is a modular device for cultivation purposes for batch, fed-batch and continuous processes. The basic configuration consists of the bioreaction glass vessel (from 250 mL to 5L) with the integrated stirring equipment. Additional functions can be added to develop the configuration that the customer needs (e.g., pumps, sensors, controls, …). Also, multiple in parallel / in series vessels systems are easy to configure with our technology.
Vessel types
- SCREW-HEAD vessels (Duran GL80 (DN65) & GL100 (DN80) wide neck bottles), a cost-saving solution with less connectivity,
- FLANGED-HEAD vessels (Duran DN60/150/200), a solution with higher prices but more connectivity.
Mixing types
- mag stirrer,
- overhead stirrer,
- air/gas supply.
